Wissant

The aire is in progress, this means it had no services yet, and one of the services still missing was the payment machine. It’s 30 mins from Calais. It was fine for us as we can survive off grid for a few days, although we do prefer to have toilet disposal. We spent less than 24 hours here. We walked to the front, looked at the sea and sat in a cafe for a cuppa. We considered having a last night meal out, but our wallet and my diet app thought it was a bad idea. It was a grey miserable day, low cloud reduced any views that were to be had.

Wissant, didn’t really have much to offer, although it’s beaches were long and sandy so I can imagine it being very attractive in summer.
