Symonds Yat

What a stunning site. Surrounded by the forest a large clearing with views onto a forested valley. Only a short walk to Symonds yat rapids where we could reminisce on many hours getting very cold and wet. We did (for us) short walks from the campsite. I’m saying short I think 8 miles was the longest walk. We also cycled to Symonds Yat rock, which included some steep bits. John did have to pause a few times, but I’m so proud of him, he did it. He’ll soon be back to full health and all without any input from the NHS. He was only triaged as urgent which means 3 months later he is still waiting for an appointment. Still it was nice to be out and about again, even if it was only for a few days
