Santiago de Campostela
· Spain
We parked in the motorhome/bus park about 25 minutes walk from the cathedral and walked in. It was another 12€ to stay the night and probably not the quietest place to sleep and so we were only staying for the day. Santiago is most famous for the pilgrimages that end there. There are many different ways to arrive and different distances to travel. There were certainly a great many people celebrating that they’d “done it” in the square in front of the cathedral. A pleasant enough town but nothing special really.
