Pietra Ligure
· Italy
Motorhome areas in this part of Italy are surprisingly expensive so yet again we stayed in a campsite which offered discounts for ACSI card holders. Campsite was reasonable (in fact very new showers with infrared sensor so you didn’t have to keep pressing the button) but we arrived just after they closed for lunch (1-3.30) so had a long wait to get in. We just sat in the van reading but the five vans that arrived after us weren’t as patient and hung around reception. Of course they all got served before us. Pietra Ligure is an OK seaside town but Laona next door is a much nicer place with a very pleasant promenade.
