Mortagne sur Gironde

Lovely little port area in the estuary running down to Bordeaux. The parking area for motorhomes was set directly on the quay. This was a very nice spot, one of our favourites yet. The countryside around here is a lot hillier than we’ve had with the morning bike outing to the boulangerie needing a steep ascent. I knew the electric bikes would come into their own. We went for a bike ride one evening. There are a lot of vineyards around here but we are near Bordeaux after all!
