We stayed on quite a basic parking area in the middle of the biggish town of Malmedy. Only 5€ a night plus metered electricity. Malmedy was in the middle of the Battle of the Bulge during the second world war and so there are lots of war museums in the area but we didn’t do any of them. We did go on a 78K bike ride around the area which was very pleasant, got caught in a big thunder shower, first rain for a couple of weeks and ate traditional Belgian food of waffles and kebabs.
