This was one of the nicer aires we have stopped on, also one of the dearest 11€ without electricity, but lovely views over the bay and to the hills beyond. Almost a bit like being in the Lake district. The village of Leucate leaves something to be desired, but nice walk, if somewhat wet around the headland. Sunday was the start of the good weather, from coats to shorts in one day. We got the kayak out in the afternoon, but alas the wind also arrived so we didn’t paddle far.
