Jerez de la Frontera

Jerez is sherry and flamenco country and a nice little town with lots of open spaces. The area we stayed on was just a car park at the side of a motorhome rental/repair centre. It had all the facilities and was very clean but you always felt that you were a bit hemmed in – you couldn’t sit outside at all. But we needed to fix the brakes on Bertie which had started to grind a bit. The area we stayed at didn’t do mechanical repairs (only habitation) but there was a garage that said they would fix it for us on the Wednesday (2 days time). So we took it in first thing Wednesday and returned at the end of the morning to find they would have to order the parts which would take another two days!! Why they didn’t order the bits on Monday who only knows? So it’s now booked in for Friday and we’re off to the coast for a couple of days so we can sit outside.
