I’ve heard people make a distinction between travelling and tourist. I spent Monday 5th getting a true view of a day in the life of a white collar worker at a large well known company. I “shadowed” the team as they attended workshops and meetings, ate in their canteen ( 12 o’clock stop for lunch and go to canteen ), used their facilities. The only concession, I was provided with tea! Although the request for milk in said tea was met with gasps of horror. The site is in the middle of a forest just out of town. On site it is so quiet, cars are parked on the edge of site. A true look a a working day. A great welcome, and a great team. Not really part of my tour as I flew there and stopped in hotels, using a rental car to get around.
