Henlow Bridge

· England

We stayed here for 2 nights. It’s mega expensive site and not much to offer. It has a small shop and if you are into fishing, lakes, plus lots of little playgrounds. Lots of units nicely lined up, looking onto the play areas. It’s really not my sort of campsite. We came here because the bloke who services our van (the motorhome side of it) is now fixed base rather than mobile, and hence we now have to go to him. We had decided to spend some money on the motorhome and get some things fixed, in this case the lights, which a few years ago the mice decided to eat. We did look at replacing the motorhome last year but it is just so prohibitive in cost that this just isn’t going to happen. While waiting for the repairs we walked the 16 mile round trip to Biggleswade, don’t rush to visit Biggleswade. On the way back we past Jordans mill, which was heaving with day trippers and looked like it would have been a good place to lunch. With campsite cost and repair costs an expensive 2 days.
