Gibraltar

Actually we stayed on the Spain side of the border in La Linea de la Concepciòn as there are no campsites in Gibraltar. This was basically a car park again with services and no electricity. People say you should see Gibraltar once and I think once is enough. It was strange to see so many English things again after 5 months away: the pelican crossings, the black rubbish bins, the supermarket selling Waitrose brands. We did the main tourist things: took the cable car ride to the top of the rock etc. The monkeys were the best thing though. Most of the people serving us in shops and restaurants seem to talk first in Spanish though which I wasn’t expecting.
