Covadonga

We moved on to a different car park just a few kilometres from Cangas so that we could cycle up the mountain to Cavadonga lakes. It was a car park we were staying in, this time without services but much quieter than in the bigger town. And nearer the National Park itself. This was a lovely location near the town of Covadonga which has a church that looks a bit like something from Disney and a shrine in a cave which together draw in the tourists. The bike ride was magnificent, a climb of 1,300 metres. Something we could not have done without the electric bikes.
