Costa da Caparica

This is the dearest campsite we had every stopped on and has nothing to sell it other than location. It’s the other side of the estuary from Lisbon. Costa da Caparcia is basically a beach suburb and also has little to offer other than beach and the standard restaurants . Except this place cost you lots of money. We picked a bad time to stop here as there was a rock concert on in the park next door and entertainment at the bar in the campsite and so going to bed was like being in a disco until about 3am. It’s not even good for Lisbon as it is a bus, ferry and train ride to get in (or an Uber).
