Carboeiro

At first glance this was just a lay-by. But actually it was in a very nice area in a hollow surrounded on all sides by hills. We went for a bike ride up into the hills to a monastery which was nothing special but the hills were both a challenge and an exhilaration as we reached speeds of 50kph+ on the way down. On the Friday evening we walked to the magnificent Fervenza do Toxa, one of the highest waterfalls in Spain.
