Brunnen

We stayed at Blueberry Hill parking area near Brunnen, a tiny hamlet up in the hills, miles from anywhere. Quite idyllic location really. Cost was 10CHF for parking plus coins in the slot for electricity and water. Quite cheap for Switzerland. You could also buy a basket of wood for 5CHF and make a fire. Tracey has always been a bit of a pyromaniac so we had to do that one on the last night. We were the only people there on that night – it had been busy at the weekend. The sunset nicely to add to the evening.

I think that this was one of our favourite places all the time we’ve been travelling. We walked a lot, cycled to a waterfall and generally enjoyed the view with the red kites constantly calling all around us.
