Brockenhurst

Are we becoming creatures of habit. We were on this campsite a year ago. It’s very nice surrounded by the New Forest. We spent 3 nights here. We did what you would expect us to do. One day we walked about 10 miles around the forest. The second day we went further afield and cycled around the forest. It is so beautiful in the forest. At this time of year the commoners are aloud to turn their pigs out to eat the acorns so we came across a herd of them, I do like to see pigs out free range. I was surprised how long it took us to cycle 30 plus miles, we only just made it back for dark. The gravel paths of the forest really slow you do. On the third and final morning we went for a run, normally I have my headphones on full blast to drown out the traffic in the forest I had them on low and I could still here the birds.
