Barmouth

Here again, at our firends caravan. Only for 3 nights. We spent one day walking to the other side of the estuary. Barmouth was busy because they have a weekend where they race bikes around the beach and this was the weekend, very noisy! The second day the rain had set in , this is Wales. We went to a cafe in the hills that overlook a reservoir, last time we were here (drinking tea) we noticed it did greek food, so we went to sample that. No greek food but a very good full English. We walked it off in the hills looking at waterfalls, but not for long as we had not got out waterproofs with us. On the way home we stopped at Powys castle, spending most of the day there including doing a very informative ghost tour, lots of details on the history of the castle with a the odd ghost stories thrown in so it matched the title of the tour. Pleasant but short break
