Baden

Lovely bay, very quiet with lots of pretty little villages around. Baden itself is a small town, with a few restaurants, church, bakery but we couldn’t find a grocer’s We’re on Aire des Îles about 20 mins cycle from Baden. Nice aire could be very crowded but with 3 on it’s nice. €9.80 + €1.40 tax a night and €2 for uses of water each time you fill up so not the cheapest aire. Port Blanc is a lovely little car park about 10mins walk away on the Gulf of Morbihan. I say car park because it’s where the residents of the island Îls-aux-Moines park. Restaurant in Port Blanc does a lovely 5 course valentines meal if you’re in the area, but expect to part with lots of money. Bay is used extensively for oyster farming.
