Think spaghetti western, lots were filmed here, The good the bad and the ugly being one. The area is barren and beautiful. Lovely walk from the site up to the hills. Long cycle ride round to the coast with splendid view points and a nice fishing village were refreshed ourselves in a bar on the harbours edge . Lots of gold mining went on here, and we stumbled across a nice botanic gardens in the middle of nowhere.
